It’s 1927, and you’re invited to the annual Turnip Hoedown at O’Connell Turnip Farms. Edie O’Connell, the first woman to run the farm, has created a monopoly on turnips–and on local politics too. Every politician or business tycoon in Texas owes the O’Connells something, and Edie is cashing in on favors. This hoedown might seem innocent, but there are some here who would much rather see this turnip farm start growing a different, deadlier crop!
Top secret instructions will be sent with each ticket, and guests will find themselves mingling with costumed professional actors. But it's not just the pros who are telling this story. Every guest will have a piece of gossip to spread—and a secret to keep.
The event will be hosted in a private residence in Olmos Park and guests will be treated to mouthwatering sweet and savory grazing boards from Graze This Way Charcuterie & Catering and selected wines from Copper Rose Wine. Costumes are highly encouraged.
All proceeds will benefit Turnip Ensemble Theater's inaugural fall production, and guests will be given an exclusive sneak peak at details about the fall show and the process of devising a brand new theater performance.

Guests will be sent top-secret instructions via email after purchasing their ticket(s), with a part written exclusively for them based on their preferences (below). The Olmos Park address for the event will also be included in follow up correspondence once the ticket has been purchased.
